We are a couple in our mid-thirties living in the seaside town of Blackrock, Co. Dublin. We have a nineteen-month-old daughter, and a five-month-old son and live in a beautiful Victorian property with a newly-refurbished bathroom and bedroom available to the au pair, in addition to a beautiful tree-lined tranquil private back garden. Our home is located amongst lots of Dublin's most beautiful Victorian architecture, local parks and walks, in addition to numerous train and bus lines to the heritage village of Dalkey (15 mins away), the Dundrum town centre (8-10 minutes away) and the city centre (12 minutes away). There is also an Airport bus stop across from our front door which reaches the airport in 45 minutes. Our little girl is very easy-going and happy in herself and we will need an au pair from July 2024 onwards. OUR HOME Our home is a beautiful 220 square metre red brick Victorian house, located in Dublin's beautiful seaside town of Blackrock. It is complete with a newly-refurbished bathroom and bedroom looking out onto mature gardens, both of which are available to the au pair. o The house has a private, secure, gated front entrance, set well in off the road for child safety and a beautiful private rear garden, nestled among mature trees, which is very peaceful to spend time in and is not overlooked. o It has a newly-refurbished bathroom and bedroom available to the au pair. o Our home is located amongst lots of Dublin's most beautiful Victorian architecture, local cafe's, parks, beaches and walks, in addition to numerous DART, train and bus lines to Dublin city centre (12 minutes) the Dundrum town shopping center (8-10 minutes away). o Our family have a private, gated property on the Canary Islands also, so there would be opportunities to travel there with us also. There is an Airport bus stop across from our front door, which reaches the airport in 45 minutes. Our Family We are a friendly couple who wish to welcome an au pair into the exciting life Dublin and Ireland offer and help them explore their experience here while respecting their independence and their space. Our daughter is extremely relaxed and easy-going and generally she does not cry, unless she is very hungry, which is easily solved. She naps for two hours each day and sleeps between nine and eleven hours a night. She is happy to play in her own company as she has many open-ended Montessori toys and happy to do sensory play. She does not fuss with new people and is generally placid and happy in herself. Our son is also very relaxed and is a happy baby and also now sleeps ten hours a night and for much of the day.
