LINN, 20 ÅR

Hello future host family! My name is Linn, I’m 19 years old and I live in the Swedish town Lund. Lund is a relatively small town but it has one of the best universities and schools in Sweden so it attracts a lot of young people but still has its charm. Last year I Graduated from high school and since then I’ve been working at the local mall at a Juice Bar. Its been a good way to earn some money and a fun job with nice colleagues but now I want to move on and do something new and at the same time combine two things I like, working with children and traveling. My past experience working with children involve one week of unpaid internship at a kindergarten, and then during the summer of 2020 I worked 3 weeks at another kindergarten. I learnt a lot from these two experiences and at both places the kids seemed to like me. I’m a very creative person and I think that is one part of why kids like me and why I can enjoy their company and they can enjoy mine. It’s always been easy for me to make up stories or draw and entertain children. A little more about me is that I like to do a lot of activities like visiting new places, doing yoga, and learning new things, but I can also enjoy a chill day just hanging out and playing board games or watching movies. I like to cook and bake and try new recipes, I’m also very social and enjoy being with my friends a lot.
