Dear host family Hey there! I'm an 18 years old girl from Finland. I do sports like running and I'm a kind and social person who loves kids and activities. I'd like a host family which is nice and would like to know a Finnish girl in addition to a babysitter. My personality I'm a really active and brisk person. I can act on my own initiative and I'm creative and patient with children. I like to do a lot of things and interact with other people. I don’t like partying like others my age. I also don’t smoke or even drink alcohol. My family and friends There are mom, dad, a big brother and a little brother in my family. However, I have a lot of cousins of all ages from babies to adults! My mom works at a sports store and my dad does construction work. I also hang out with my grandma really much, I work as a personal assistant to her. I'm not in a relationship. My education I have attended high school after elementary school, graduating in March 2022. I have always been good at school and I also have work experience in many fields. I have worked for example at children's camps, a shoe store, a sports store, I have run an exercise club, and worked as a cleaner and photographer. I have a driver's license. What I do in my free time I'm a very athletic person and I have a lot of hobbies. I'm a runner but I also like swimming, riding a horse and acrobatics, for example. In winter I do cross country skiing and snowboarding. I've been playing piano for nine years and I can also play guitar. My experience with kids I have a lot of experience with kids. In my life, I have cared for cousins, both babies and older children. I have also served as a club instructor for children for three years. I like all kids but I especially love babies! I think I’m very good with children and they also like being with me. My language skills I speak Finnish but I can also speak English and some Swedish. English is natural to me because I use it every day. However, I still have a lot of to practice. I learned Swedish in school and I have some relatives in Sweden. I have also taken a Spanish course but I only remember a few sentences. My motivation I love children and being abroad. It would be wonderful to learn English better and spend time with the kids. Cleaning and other work isn't a problem either, as I am a neat person and I don't like clutter. It would be awesome to get to know another country and culture. My expectations I would like a family that lives pretty healthily and likes to do a lot of things. It would be nice to go to a beach, for example, to spend time with children. I like a chill and nice family who are kind and loving to each other. Holidays on the weekends would also be nice. Other important information I'm vegetarian so I don't eat chicken or meat. However, I'm not bothered even if others eat meat. Everyone else in my family eats meat and that has not been a problem.
