MATHILDE, 20 ÅR

My name is Mathilde, and I am 19 years old. I am a very creative person who values family and social connections. I am responsible, determined, and always open to new experiences and challenges. My interest in different cultures and societies has sparked my desire to live and work in either England or the USA, where I can use my fluency in English. In addition to speaking fluent Danish and English, I also have a good understanding of both German and French, allowing me to communicate across different languages and cultures. As a family-oriented person, I come from a large family and currently live at home with my parents and younger brother, while my sister has moved out to attend university. I also look forward to going to university myself, where I dream of studying journalism. My curiosity and desire to meet new people have led me to consider becoming an au pair, as a way to learn about new cultures, meet different people, and experience their everyday habits and ways of life. I have been working at a care center, where I’ve had the opportunity to work with people with dementia. This has given me invaluable experience in providing care, practicing patience, and honing my communication skills, which I believe will be very helpful in an au pair role. I love engaging in meaningful conversations and discovering where we differ, but also where we are similar. To me, that is one of the most exciting and rewarding parts of life.
