KYERIRE, 26 ÅR

My name is Jotham Kyerire, and I'm from Uganda the pearl of Africa in the Eastern part of Africa where the sunsets painted my childhood memories. Growing up, I developed a deep love for nature and adventure, which has shaped my outlook on life. Whether it was hiking in the nearby mountains or exploring tide pools, I found joy in the simplicity of the world around me. In terms of my interests, I am an avid reader, often losing myself in the pages of fantasy novels. I also enjoy playing football and in my high school I was on scholarship due to football and I prefer making and finding new families to live with . On weekends, you can often find me at church since I'm a Seventh day Adventist.. Academically, I pursued a diploma in Journalism and Media Studies at Victoria University Kampala Uganda and due to luck of financial support I was forced to end there ,however if I get another opportunity I'm very ready to go back for further studies. Driven by my passion for people with in the society,I decided to go in for that course. My studies opened my eyes to the pressing issues facing our planet, and I became involved in various initiatives aimed at promoting eco-friendly practices. After graduating, I landed a position with a non-profit organization but due to financial need,I decided to leave, I value kindness, integrity, and curiosity. I believe in the power of empathy and strive to make a positive impact on those around me. I am passionate about advocating for environmental issues and aim to inspire others to take action, no matter how small. Looking ahead, my goal is to further my education until I get a master’s degree . As I navigate this journey, I hold onto the belief that every small step counts. “In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks,” a quote by John Muir, resonates deeply with me, reminding me to appreciate the beauty of the journey and the lessons it brings. I'm therefore hoping to get a new family to share some good moments with as well as i change my humble background and my family.
