My name is Tafadzwa (Taffy), originally from Zimbabwe. I am currently based in the United Arab Emirates working as a nanny. Shona, a Zimbabwean language is my native language and I am also fluent in English as it has been my language of instruction since elementary school. I am also learning basic German on Youtube everyday. I am eager to explore a different language and culture as well as share my culture with those around me. I have a Bachelor's degree in Banking but I have been finding fulfillment in childcare and healthcare in the past 2 years. I have 1 year experience as a caregiver, 7 months (and still counting) as a nanny and general experience taking care of my siblings, nieces and nephews. I also have a Diploma in Caregiving as well as a Certificate in Special Education Needs and Disabilities. Becoming an AU pair will be a great opportunity for me to explore a new culture whilst doing something I love that is taking care of children, teaching them basic skills, helping them with school work and assisting if first aid care when needed. I also believe that I have a responsibility in taking as much care as possible of the environment that I live in therefore I am willing to help in household chores in my host's house. I believe a candidate should hoist me because I am an outgoing individual who likes to try new activities, meet new people and exchange cultures.
