SEDAN, 24 JAHRE

Hello, hope you’re doing great. I would like to thank you for your interest in my application and I’d like to tell you more about myself, my family, my interests and my experience in taking care of children. My name is Sedan Mwalo, and I am so excited to finally meet you all. This letter should give you an insight in my life and in my personality, so you can decide if I am the right Au-pair for your family. I am 23 years old and I come from Kisumu, a beautiful city in Kenya. I live with my parents, my younger sister (18 years old), brother (11 years old) and my two dogs who are my best friends (Alpha and Ponki). I would describe myself as kind, patient, caring, dedicated, open-minded, trustworthy, responsible, hardworking, respectful, quick-learner and independent. In my free time I love reading, swimming, driving (I have a valid driver’s license), cooking, traveling and hiking. I enjoy painting, nature walk with my dogs, riding bicycle, gardening, playing with children, which I am looking forward to doing with your children. I also love learning new languages which I am currently doing German on duolingo and I understand basic French which I learnt in my high-school, back in 2015. One of the reasons I would want to be an Au pair in your country, is because it is one of my dream countries and I would love the opportunity to continue doing what I love, which is caring for the children in a different country. I have always loved working with children; I have been babysitting for my elder sister (two kids; 1 and 3 years) and my neighbor (three children; 3, 8, 12 years) for the past 4 years. My sister moved in a different city for work, but she comes back home during weekends and school holidays, and I take care of my niece and nephew when she goes back to the city for work. I feed them, paint, swim, play games(skipping ropes), read them stories and even act them, wash them, wash and sort their clothes, help them with homework and I put the little baby to sleep. I have been taking care of my younger siblings too, I attend their school meetings when my parents are busy, and I pick my younger brother up from school. I take care of my neighbor’s children; I also pick them up, wash them, and cook for them, help with their homework, play, ride bicycle or drive them around our area. My neighbor usually comes back home late from work and sometimes she travels for work, since I am around I always look after her children. I really enjoy helping children, learn new things and see them grow and develop. I would also love to learn your language and other cultures. Why you should choose me as your aupair, is because I enjoy spending time with children, I am patient in caring for the children, I am trustworthy and you will not have to worry about consigning your children to my care. The well-being and safety of your children are my priority. You can absolutely rely on me. I am good in making friends and your children will be more than happy to have a great friend taking care of them. I would like to be a part of your family and I’d love to look after your children, help with the household chores and learn about your country and the beautiful culture it has to offer.
