AGUSTINA, 25 JAHRE

Hello! My name is Agustina Cruz, I'm 24 years old and I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I consider myself as an honest, respectful, caring, friendly and independent person. I love spending time with friends and family, reading, painting and writing. I also love everything outdoors related and playing soccer! When I graduated high school I decided that I wanted to travel so I moved to Brazil where I spent six months; I learned some Portuguese and a lot about their culture and I think that experience made me realize how much I love learning other languages and traveling. Regarding my experience taking care of children, in 2016 I started taking care of a little girl, who was 2 years old at the time, named Mia. It was a lot of fun and we mostly spent time playing and reading books. When my youngest sister was 3 months old my mom had to go back to work so I spent an entire year taking care of her. It was a challenge because she was the first baby I took care of, but eventually got the hang of it. I have a really big family and I'm the oldest of all of my cousins so I’m used to taking care of kids. I also worked at an English Institute teaching English to kids between the ages of 6-8. In 2020 I decided I wanted to be an au pair in the US, but because of the pandemic I was able to travel there on 2021; in my first year i lived in Denver, Colorado, and I took care of 3 little girls, when I first got there they were 5 months old, 4 years old and 5 years old. I spent most of my time with the baby, but occasionally took care of all three of them. In my my second yeari took care of 2 kids, a boy aged 4 years old and a girl aged 7. I learned so much from this experience, and I think it’s definitely helped me to grow up as a person. im currently back home after being an au pair in the Netherlands but I’d love to keep learning and exploring the world, that's why I decided to give this experience another chance.
