PILAR, 19 JAHRE

Dear host family, Hi!! Im Pilar, but everyone calls me Pili! I come from a very small town in the middle of Argentina "General Levalle". I finished High School there last December and after that, since I consider myself a little too young to start my studies; I came to Denmark to Højskole during my gap year. At the moment Im at Silkeborg Højskole until December, but before, I was at Snoghøj Højskole. I´m enjoying so much my experience in Denmark, I think being away from home is making me grow a lot and during this time Ive started to feel more confident as a person. I sometimes find it hard to be abroad, but most of the times I´m very happy and grateful of having the opportunity to be abroad in a very developed country and experiencing a completely new culture. Thats why, I want to start a new adventure abroad, and being an Au Pair would be the dream job for me. I´ve always loved being surrounded by children and I have so much fun when I´m with them. I love playing in the nature and I also enjoy so much doing sports and creative activities. One of my biggest hobbies is singing and everything related to music. I think the best version of me goes out when I´m with kids, and I love their way of seeing life, I think I can learn lot of things from them. The most important thing in my life is my family, I have 2 older sisters, my parents and a cute dog. My perfect weekend plan would be making some good homemade food, and spending the day together playing board games or watching a good movie. I come from a country where we are very open people, so I consider myself a very social and extrovert person. It´s a must for me to spend time having fun with people, that is what makes me feel happy and fulfilled. I´m always down for a plan together with someone! :) I would love to learn a new language! I speak Spanish, English and a little bit of Danish. Im looking so much forward to my future job and I hope I find a place where I can feel like home. - Pili
