LEA, 23 YEARS

Dear Host Family, I'm very excited about getting to know you, but firstly I want to introduce myself to you and hopefully to make your decision easier. I'm Lea Victoria Pronuevo, but you can call me Lea for short. I'm 23 years old and I live in San Miguel, a small town in Bulacan, Philippines with my parents and two siblings. Last August 2023, I finished my degree course Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. I was in high school when I'm dreaming of going abroad but now with your help, this dream could come true. I:m happy that my family is supporting me about this plan of going abroad as au pair because they know that there's a lot of opportunities waiting for me there. I would describe myself as caring, loving, friendly, trustworthy, helpful and positive woman. I'm a person with a strong-will and determination. In my spare time, I love listening to indie and pop rock kind of music, reading classic novels, playing badminton. I also love to sing and dance. I can also swim and I am really interested to take swimming/life-saving classes. The reason why I want to be an au pair is to gather valuable memories living with a new family in a foreign country, to see your children grow and learn, meet new people and new friend and experience the way of life of different culture. It would be great experience for me to share my life with your family, become more independent and have self-confidence and spend time with you and your kids. Especially to earn money so that I can also help my family. I am also currently in the process of getting my driver's license. Experience working with children: When I was about 13 years old, I looked after my baby brother. When my parents are busy, as the eldest daughter, Now he is already 10 years old and in fourth grade and yet I still take care of him. I also take care of my three year old niece when my cousin is at work, I also teach her basic education so she's already ready for her preparatory school. I also cook for my family.
